About Joe

 

Joe Stokes has mentored, coached and inspired leaders throughout his professional life. Joe connects quickly with audiences of all sizes through the power of story-telling. Sharing his experience both good and not so good, Joe weaves years of learning with humility, humour and honesty. While the responsibility of leading can be daunting, Joe believes passionately that integrity is paramount for achieving results and cultivating the leaders of tomorrow.

Joe’s career spanned more than 30 years with Coca-Cola Canada. He advanced to the level of Vice President of Sales Operations, Ontario and Vice President of Supply Chain Logistics, Canada. Being one of two Canadian graduates of Coca-Cola University– a MBA style program for Senior Executives from Coca-Cola world-wide is one of Joe’s many achievements.

Joe has served on numerous charitable committees and as a director for WindReach Farm and WindReach Foundation, which strives to enrich the lives of persons of all ages with disabilities and/or special needs. He is proud to be one of the keynote speakers at the annual Day of Hope and Leadership, a personal and professional leadership development day which has raised over $700,000 for the Hope Centre of Learning, a charitable centre located in Oshawa ON.

Joe recently wrote his first book, “Why Lead? When ambition embraces integrity”. His book offers realistic insights, balanced perspective and truth to leaders in all walks of life. Written in a tone that reflects his speaking style, Joe shares his vulnerabilities and how he overcame them, his biggest wins and why they were not his alone.

Joe believes that to find fulfillment we must focus on our strengths and not obsess our shortcomings. As a Leadership coach he challenges established and emerging leaders realize their full potential.
